Series 2: Interwoven Lives
These twelve artworks bring together India’s diverse landscapes through their iconic animals,
traditional textiles, and a unifying artistic language inspired by Kalighat Patachitra,
popularised globally by the late Shri Jamini Roy. Each month presents a flagship animal
native to a specific Indian state, rendered as a human-like figure adorned in the region’s
distinctive textile or craft tradition. Initially designed for the 2026 calendar, we also decided to open this series for Kumbh Kagaz's notebook covers.
