Our story begins in the dense forests, remote villages, and vibrant ecosystems where we’ve spent our careers. As field biologists and conservationists, we are continually in awe of the beauty and vastness of nature. Through our experience, we have also realised that it is imperative to conserve and coexist with all the elements of nature for our own survival.

Dibyadeep Chatterjee, PhD

A Conservation Ecologist and avid art enthusiast with a doctorate in Wildlife Sciences and over twelve years of experience working across India's diverse landscapes.

Illustrator and Visual Storyteller, freelancer

Priyanka Motwani

Priyanka is based in Madhya Pradesh, India. Her art explores culture, place, and everyday narratives through thoughtful and engaging illustrations. In early 2026, she collaborated with the design team of the inaugural Bhopal Film Festival, creating a distinctive merchandise collection for the event. Her work also includes an illustrated map of Bhopali cuisine, celebrating the city's rich culinary heritage and cultural history. When she is not illustrating, Priyanka enjoys sketch walks in nature, collecting obscure historical anecdotes, maintaining an endearingly untidy workspace, and experimenting with recipes inspired by the many cultures she continues to discover.

Graphic designer and illustrator

Aparna Thankaraj

Aparna is a graphic narrative practitioner and illustrator based in Kerala, India. Working across illustration, comics, text, and mixed-media art, her practice explores how visual storytelling can illuminate lived experiences of gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, and power within both intimate and social spaces. Her notable works include the comic series Miss Android and the menstruation handbook Same Red, among several other projects that combine compelling narratives with thoughtful visual expression. Through her work, Aparna creates spaces for reflection, dialogue, and empathy, using illustration as a powerful medium for storytelling and social engagement.
